The Placement Checklist.
Review it before you hit send.

The eight checks I run on every email and website banner before a campaign goes live.

The examples

Two campaigns. Every placement.

Each campaign starts with its generated images. Then the same images are resized for each placement, and the copy goes on top.

Campaign 01 · Core Strength Society · Independent AI concept

Pilates grip socks launch

Two generated images, four placements. The copy was added after the images, so every word is exact.

The generated images
AI-generated image of legs in burgundy grip socks and shorts, lying on a light backdrop
Wide image with open space on the left for copy.
AI-generated image of a seated woman pulling up burgundy ribbed grip socks
Portrait image for social and email.
Website banner
Website banner reading The Core Collection Is Live with a Shop the Collection button beside the grip socks image
The wide image, with the headline and button added in the site editor. The product stays clear of the copy.
Waitlist page
Waitlist page reading Join The Club with a sign-up form and a cropped photo of a woman in grip socks
Crop one.
Waitlist page reading Join The Club with a sign-up form and a wider photo of a woman in grip socks
Crop two. Same layout, so compare where the socks sit in each.
Email and launch post
Teaser email with a grip sock image, the headline Your Surprise Gift, the code CLUBGIFT and a Shop the Collection button
Email: the subject line, banner and code all point at one offer.
Launch post reading We are live over a photo of burgundy grip socks
Launch post: same product, same burgundy, same type.
Campaign 02 · Gisou · Independent AI concept

Post-purchase email

Two generated images, one email. The offer and the order details were built in the email, not in the images.

The generated images
AI-generated product image of a honey hair oil bottle on honeycomb with bees
Hero image for the top of the email.
AI-generated image of a woman dripping honey onto a beehive-shaped hair mask jar
Offer image for the add-on product.
The email, top to bottom
Full post-purchase email with order confirmation, a 15 percent off add-on offer for a hair mask, and a countdown
Scroll to read the whole email.
Top of the email: hair oil hero image and the order confirmation
The top: the hero image confirms what they bought.
Offer section: Yours at 15 percent off, the hair mask image and an Add it to order button
The offer: one product, one price, one button.

Gisou is not a client of mine, this was not commissioned by or shown to the brand, and I am not affiliated with them. The customer name and order details are invented for the demo.

The checklist

Check every placement.

Open the email and the banner where your customer will actually see them, on a phone and on a desktop. Check a box only after you have looked.

Second opinion

Let AI review it with you.

Take a screenshot of the email on your phone and the banner on desktop and on a phone. Attach them with your original campaign images, fill in the brackets, and send.

Product page: [paste link]
Campaign message: [the one thing customers should remember]
Offer, exactly as it should read: [offer, dates, code]

Check each placement:
1. Is the product easy to find at a glance, and still in frame after cropping?
2. Is there one clear focal point?
3. Is every headline and button readable, and does any copy cover the product?
4. Quote every word you can see in the images exactly as written, and compare it to my offer. Flag any spelling, price or date that does not match.
5. Do the email, the banner and the images all say the same message, with the same product, offer and look?

If you cannot see something clearly, mark it "cannot verify." Do not invent product facts.

Return a table: Placement | Check | Pass / Fix / Cannot verify | What to fix.
Then list the top three fixes, with product and offer errors first.

The one thing that breaks it: asking the image tool to write your headline or offer. Generate the image clean, then add every word yourself.
